ModeOne Just Works
Are you more the DATE_OF_BIRTH type, or do you do dateOfBirth? No matter your naming convention, users will see “Date of Birth” — it’s automatic, complete with search options tailored to match the field type. For more power, customize either to suit your needs. You can even override the automatic value list, for popup menu-type searches, with a different one from your app, or enter a custom list of ad hoc values just for searching.
How we did it

ModeOne automatically detects searchable fields on the current layout and creates user-friendly names for them, then presents a menu of fields to search on, along with search operators tailored to each searchable field.
- It uses a powerful algorithm to determine the field type and operators (“is greater than,” “is in the last,” “word begins with”) appropriate for the field.
- Supported rule types include string, long text, popup menu, number, currency, percent, Boolean (Yes/No), rating, and date.
